May 9, 2017 Ipad Project for Jefferson Elementary School

A total of fourteen people helped raise money for this project at Jefferson Elementary School.

We were thrilled to be one of the fourteen.  We believe that technology will help these young students be better prepared for the world of today and tomorrow.

The project was to help purchase 2 iPads for their classroom.  The Ipads will be used for guided group instruction and select apps for promoting problem solving.

April 25, 2017: Take Me Out To The Ball Game. Jefferson Elementary School.

Beau Dodson Weather and the Shadow Angel Foundation funding this project.

Jefferson Elementary School is located in Massac County, Illinois.

Ms. Weatherbee, the teacher, has some great students.  Her students were in need of an iPad to take Accelerated Reader tests on. They also needed the Dan Gutman Baseball Card Adventure series to have access to reading material that matches their interests.

Her Students in her words

I have a classroom full of seventeen energetic students this year. Our school is in a rural area, and the students that I teach come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Our school serves students in grades K-6 and provides rigorous academics, loving teachers, and a safe learning environment. As a result, we are consistently one of the top-performing schools in our district every year

I have high expectations for my students, and I love to see the look of accomplishment on their faces when they achieve a new goal.

I look forward to making new and exciting experiences available to them whenever possible.
